First, about RAIN ! In Hyderabad, it's been raining continuously, incessantly, for the past 17 days. Since 3.July.2013, or round abouts. Elderly people are commenting, that they have never seen this kind of rain in the last 40 years in Hyderabad ! Good ! While the rains were not torrential , it's been a small rain and continuous drizzle which kept the climate wet, cool but body temps up, due to viral and seasonal fevers. All hospitals are full.
All water reservoirs, like Osman Sagar, Hussain Sagar, Manjeera and Krishna and Godavari are FULL this year. Hope this does not exceed the limit and allows ' khareef 'agriculture smoothly now.
Hyd now has nearly 1 crore population. To quench the thirst of 1 Cr people for 1 year, this much rain is needed !
Thank God for little mercies !
